Seeds need stratification for germination by soaking the seeds in water for 24 hours. Then drain the water, put the seeds in a bag (in a damp cloth) and put them in the refrigerator for 4-6 weeks. Make sure the seeds stay moist all the time).

Fill the container with good quality seedling compost, spread the seeds on the surface and cover them with sifted compost or vermiculite.

Moisten and keep them at room temperature (around 20°C) in a place with enough light, but not in direct sun. Maintain high humidity around the seeds until germination begins and then ensure good ventilation, as seedlings are very susceptible to fungal diseases such as mold.
