Flame tree bonsai seeds (4 pieces per pack).

Seeds can be germinated and seedlings planted at any time, but they must first be scarified to open the seed coat and allow water to enter for seed germination.

Soften the seed coat by soaking the seeds in warm water for a day or two before planting them in the potting mix.

Scarify the softened seeds by lightly cutting or scratching each one with a knife to speed up the germination process. You can rub the seeds with sandpaper.

Prepare a container 7 to 15 cm deep with a well-drained seedling soil mix. Place each seed 2 to 3 cm deep and 8 cm from one another.

 Place the pot in a warm, partially shaded spot outdoors. Keep the soil moist, but do not overwater. The seeds will begin to germinate in four to six 10 weeks.
