Lemon Scented Gum bonsai seeds, Ref. 5718
Description:
Lemon Scented Gum (Corymbia citriodora), seeds for bonsai growing.
Pack of 10 seeds
Seed preparation:
Stratification helps germination. Place the seed packet in the refrigerator for 7 days. Then if the seed coat is hard it can be cut with a knife or treated with sandpaper to allow moisture to penetrate the seed and help it germinate faster.
Seed planting:
Fill pots or containers with fertile soil and plant the seeds to a depth of about twice their size.
Seed care:
Cover with clear foil with holes in it. Keep the soil moist but not overwatered. The location of the container should be bright but protected from direct sunlight. Temperature 20-24 C. To prevent mold every 2-3 days remove the foil and ventilate. After 2-3 weeks remove the foil from the container.
Sprouts thinning:
When the seeds germinate and grow a few centimeters in height, leave only the strongest and healthiest sprouts, removing the rest.
Repotting:
When the plants are large and strong enough, repot them into larger pots.
