Orhid Tree (Bauhinia variegata) bonsai seeds (pack of 5).

For seeds germination it is necessary to scarify them (with sandpaper, slightly cut with a knife or by scratching their hard shell). Then soak the seeds for 2 days in warm water. Half an hour before sowing, it is useful to hold in a solution of manganese. Swollen seeds to dry and sow in a mixture of universal flower soil and perlite, taken in a ratio of 1:1 to a depth of 5-10 mm. Spray the soil well with soft water and cover with clear glass. The pot should be placed in a warm place with diffused light.

Seeds germinate in 2-3 weeks at 25°C. Watch the moisture content of the soil, spraying after a slight drying of the surface layer. For a few minutes a day it is necessary to remove the glass for ventilation to avoid the appearance of mold. When 2-3 true leaflets appear, young seedlings can be transplanted into the usual fertile soil.
