Seeds need stratification for germination by soaking the seeds in water for 24 hours. Then drain the water, put the seeds in a bag (in a wet cloth or sand) and put them in the refrigerator for 6-8 weeks. Make sure the seeds stay moist all the time.

Fill the container with peat (pH 3.5 - 4), spread the seeds on the surface and then cover.

Moisten and keep them at room temperature (about 20°C) in a place with enough light, but not in direct sun. Maintain high humidity around the seeds until germination starts (2-3 weeks) and then ensure good ventilation, as seedlings are very susceptible to fungal diseases such as mold.
