Cesvaine Castle was built in 1896, the main materials are boulders and granite. The castle is considered one of the most striking in the 19th century. The castle is a national architectural monument and has been included in the list of European cultural heritage since 1997. The fairytale castle is an example of eclectic art that combines architecture, sculpture, metalworking and painting. Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Art Nouveau can be seen in the interior and exterior of the building.
