Riga Dome Cathedral 4007M

Riga Dome Cathedral is one of the oldest sacred buildings not only in Latvia, but also in the whole Baltic states.
Herte combines Romanesque, early Gothic, Baroque and Art Nouveau features. Spire of the tower got its current appearance with a height of 90 m.
Now a rich cultural life takes place in Riga Dome - various concerts in which well-known artists perform. The Riga Dome organ (built in 1884) is an outstanding and unique instrument. It is an example of the highest achievements of organ building in the late Romantic period, for which it is difficult to find an equivalent in Europe. An architectural monument of national significance.
