Riga Great Guild 4004M

The history of the Great Riga Guild began in the 14th century, when a brotherhood of German merchants began to gather here. The Great Guild Building features eclectic English Gothic forms and outstanding interiors. The members of the Great Guild were German merchants, jewelers and writers. Festivities and feasts, including weddings, were regularly held here. Currently, this building houses the Big Guild Concert Hall and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra.
