Riga Small Guild 4013M

Riga Small Guild (St. John's Guild) was established in the 13th century as a fraternity of Riga craftsmen and was closely connected with the Grand Guild, which united Riga's merchants.

The building is designed in an eclectic style with richly decorated interiors and stained glass. Today, the Small Guild hosts celebrations, meetings, conferences, presentations, balls and concerts.
The old house of craftsmen currently also operates as a Culture and Folk Art Center, which is managed by various cultural organizations - children's, youth and senior amateur groups, vocal ensembles, folk applied arts and fine arts studios, amateur theaters, instrumental ensembles and folklore ensemble.
