Riga Stone bridge 4021M

Stone bridge over the Daugava in Riga was built in 1957. In fact, its span is not made of stone - it is a continuous beam of 3000 tons of metal. The length of the bridge is 503 meters, width 27.5 m. On the sides of the bridge - wide sidewalks, the railings of which are decorated with ornaments. Initially, one part of the bridge on the right bank was liftable for ships to walk.
