Exhibition "Latvian National Defense 1920-1940" talks about the national security system of Latvia, which was created after the end of the Latvian War of Independence on August 11, 1920, that is, after the conclusion of the Peace Treaty with Soviet Russia, about activities of military organizations before the occupation of Latvia in June 1940. 
The most important exhibits are the uniform of the Latvian army, the flags of the Sapieri regiment and the 19th Abrene (Jaunlatgale) Guards Regiment, the bell of the Latvian Navy flagship Virsaitis, as well as samples of Latvian state and other European awards, the Latvian collection of military insignia, awards and medals.
