Biogold (Premium)

Japanese organic fertilizer with slow release of nutrients, specially developed for flowering and decorative bonsai.
It is a more “premium” option compared to the classic Biogold Original due to its improved composition and increased duration of action.
It is designed to provide more intensive support for plants during periods of active growth and flowering.

Composition:
Nitrogen (N) - 3.5%
Phosphorus (P) - 4.5%
Potassium (K) - 4.0%
Trace elements: important for growth, foliage color, fruiting, and overall plant health.

Constant nutrition.
Biogold Selection gradually decomposes in the soil, nourishing the tree for a long time (up to 30 days after application).
When in contact with moisture, nutrients are released evenly, reducing the risk of “overfeeding.”

The product is based on natural ingredients, which supports optimal soil microflora.
Virtually odorless.
Safe for use in residential areas.
Can also be used for other indoor plants (coniferous/deciduous).

Direct application
The granules are distributed in special baskets and put over the soil surface (see here)
Distance and quantity: approximately 1 granule per 1 cm of pot length (example: 20 granules for a 20 cm pot).
When watered, the granules begin to slowly decompose and nourish the soil.
Slow-release formula - no risk of root burn.

In liquid form
Similar to other Biogold products, Biogold Selection can be soaked in water to produce a liquid fertilizer.
Soak 2–3 granules in 1 liter of water for several days. Water bonsai trees with the resulting solution once a week during active growth.
It is recommended to test the plant's reaction to a lower concentration solution first.

When to use
Spring, summer, and early fall (approximately March to September). Biogold Selection works for up to 30 days, after which a new portion of fertilizer should be applied.

Important notes
Like other organic fertilizers, Biogold Selection is not suitable for application directly to the root area, as this can cause burns and damage to the root system.
Therefore, the best method is to place the fertilizer granules in special baskets.

Do not apply fertilizer immediately after transplanting/pruning the roots - the tree must first recover from the stress.
