The most common method is seed planting in the fall in soil consisting of 2/3 peat and 1/3 sand.

Before sowing, soak the seeds in warm water for approx. 12 hours. Then place the seeds in the soil and lightly cover. The optimum temperature for germination is +25°C. Make sure that the soil is always moist and does not dry out. Sprouts appear within 2-5 weeks. When 2-3 true leaves appear, the young seedlings can be transplanted into the usual fertile soil.
