Description:

Juniper bonsai soil

Well-drained, coarse, and predominantly inorganic soil is best for junipers. Junipers do not like overwatering and grow well when their roots get plenty of air. A light, airy mixture helps prevent root rot and promotes the formation of a strong and compact root system.

Ingredients:
- 40% pumice;
- 40% lava;
- 20% akadama;

Pumice + lava provide excellent drainage and oxygen flow.
Akadama slowly decomposes and retains moderate moisture.
This composition is similar to the soil in which junipers grow in natural conditions.

Soil requirements for juniper:
Excellent drainage (mandatory).
High aeration for healthy roots.
Low organic matter content (juniper prefers poor soil).
Neutral or slightly acidic pH from 6.5 to 8.

Juniper soil should never be constantly moist.
Water thoroughly, then allow the soil to dry out partially before watering again.
Junipers tolerate drought better than wet conditions.

Standard packaging: 500 ml

When buying 2 or more packs, the price for each is 2.20 €
